In Latur city, Maharashtra, four individuals were arrested for allegedly operating an IPL cricket betting racket from a moving car. The suspects, identified as Sachin Valse (47), Kirankumar Kendre (41), Gangadhar Ghadge (51), and Manish Panchakshari (37), were apprehended during a raid by the local crime branch on Ambajogai Road. The police seized property and cash amounting to approximately ₹13.73 lakh (roughly $16,500 USD), including mobile phones, a laptop, and betting records. The accused reportedly accepted bets and conducted financial transactions using mobile phones and online platforms for ongoing IPL Twenty20 matches. A case has been registered against them under Section 12(A) of the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, and the investigation is being led by Shivajinagar Police.
