In Mumbai's Byculla area, three relatives of Trinamool Congress MP and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan were arrested following an alleged assault. The incident occurred when a local resident, Yusuf Khan, splashed water on Shoaib Khan, a relative of Pathan, while driving. After an initial confrontation, Khalid Khan (Pathan's father-in-law), along with his son Umarshad Khan and Shoaib Khan, allegedly attacked Yusuf Khan and his family with bamboo sticks and baseball bats. The assault resulted in serious injuries, including a fractured arm for Yusuf Khan's brother. Police have registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and have secured CCTV footage and eyewitness statements to support their investigation. The arrested individuals have been remanded to judicial custody as the police continue their search for a fourth suspect involved in the attack.
