Salim Dola, a 58-year-old drug trafficker and close aide of gangster Dawood Ibrahim, was extradited to India from Turkiye on Tuesday under 'Operation Global-Hunt'. Detained by Turkish authorities in Istanbul since April 2024, Dola was wanted on a pending Interpol Red Corner Notice. He had fled India in 2018 and was living in Turkiye for the past two years.
