In a tragic incident in Samrala, Ludhiana district, Punjab, India, 20-year-old Feroze Ali was brutally beaten to death by relatives of a female classmate after they discovered his late-night meetings with her. The police reported that Feroze was attacked with sharp-edged weapons, leading to severe internal injuries and excessive bleeding. His body was found on Paprodi Road on Sunday morning. Following the incident, three suspects—Sarabjit Singh, Jatinder Singh, and Arshdeep Singh—were arrested, while two others, including the girl's father, are still on the run. An FIR has been registered against five individuals under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The investigation revealed that the girl's family had been monitoring her movements after being informed about her relationship with Feroze. Police have seized the weapons used in the crime and are conducting further investigations to apprehend the remaining suspects.
