In a dramatic development in the Amravati minor girls' abuse case, Maharashtra police paraded 19-year-old Ayaan Ahmed through a village to recover crucial evidence. Ayaan was escorted under heavy security from Sarmaspura police station to a nearby neighborhood, where he reportedly indicated the location of a mobile phone he sold to a local resident named Noman shortly before his arrest. This phone, now sent for forensic analysis, is believed to contain vital evidence, including videos related to the alleged abuse of minor girls.

The investigation has been taken over by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is expanding its scope to include inquiries into a Mahindra Thar SUV and firearms that Ayaan showcased in a social media post. The vehicle and weapons have been seized from Rajesh Roshan Prajapati, the SUV's owner. Ayaan's defense claims the firearms are air guns used for agricultural purposes, but police have not confirmed this and will send the items for expert examination.

Currently, eight suspects remain in custody, and the SIT continues to question others involved. The case has generated significant public outrage in Maharashtra, highlighting serious concerns over the alleged sexual abuse and exploitation of minors. Ayaan Ahmed was arrested earlier this month following a tip-off, and the investigation aims to uncover the full extent of the abuse network.
