The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has called upon the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to provide an action report within six weeks regarding allegations of illegal groundwater extraction through borewells in South Delhi. The tribunal expects the DJB to act swiftly upon receiving the complaint, ideally within the stipulated timeframe.
