A 38-year-old man was arrested in Masuri, Ghaziabad, for allegedly stabbing his 45-year-old cousin to death over a ₹500 dispute. The victim, who ran a vegetable shop, confronted the suspect during lunch, demanding repayment of a debt. The argument escalated, leading to the suspect stabbing his cousin twice, with one wound fatally striking the heart. Police apprehended the suspect in the Bhoodgrahi locality and recovered the weapon used in the attack. Family members revealed that tensions had been brewing between the two, as the suspect had previously blamed the victim for an injury and demanded a larger sum of ₹35,000. Following the incident, the victim's wife filed a police complaint, resulting in a formal charge against the suspect under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhtia section 103(1).
