In a tragic incident in Dhedehmau village, Malihabad, Lucknow, Ajay Jaiswal, a 35-year-old liquor shop salesman, was brutally killed after he refused to sell alcohol before the shop's opening hours on Monday morning. The attack occurred around 8:30 am, when Nanakke Kashyap, the assailant, demanded liquor and, upon refusal, assaulted Jaiswal with an iron rod, targeting his head. CCTV footage captured the brutal attack, leading to Kashyap's arrest shortly after the incident. Jaiswal succumbed to severe head injuries and excessive bleeding before medical help could arrive. This incident has reignited concerns about illegal liquor sales in the area, with locals alleging that both country and foreign liquor shops operate unlawfully late into the night. Residents are urging the excise department and district administration to take stringent action against these illegal activities.
