On Sunday, the Kaisarbagh police in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, arrested three individuals linked to a burglary gang. The suspects, including Mohammad Azam (36), a food delivery agent, were apprehended after police conducted an extensive investigation that involved analyzing CCTV footage and gathering local intelligence. They were found in possession of 38 gold ornaments weighing 392.65 grams, 19 silver items totaling 217.78 grams, and ₹8,870 (approximately $107 USD) in cash, along with the motorcycle used for their crimes. The gang's method involved scouting residential areas during the day to identify locked homes and then executing thefts at night. Police linked the gang to a burglary reported on April 28 in Makboolganj, where valuables were stolen from a home. The trio's criminal history includes multiple theft and burglary cases, indicating their status as habitual offenders. Authorities believe their arrest may lead to solving other pending cases in the area.
