The murder of 30-year-old Sachin Yadav in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow, was linked to a prolonged dispute over unpaid dues at a pan kiosk. Yadav's body was discovered on May 5 in an open field in Awadh Vihar, approximately 3 km from his home, showing multiple injuries. Following a complaint from his brother, police initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of Santosh Kumar Yadav (40) and Kamal Singh Yadav (37). The suspects allegedly conspired to kill Sachin after he repeatedly took goods without payment and intimidated Santosh. They invited him to a drinking party on May 3, where Kamal allegedly shot Sachin in the temple with a .315 bore country-made firearm. The police recovered the weapon and the victim's mobile phones during the arrests, and charges under the Arms Act have been filed against the suspects.
