The Rajasthan government has made extensive preparations for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026, scheduled for May 3. A total of 611 examination centers have been set up across 27 districts. Officials, led by Chief Secretary V Srinivas, held a high-level meeting to review arrangements, focusing on sensitive areas such as Kota, Sikar, and Jaipur. Authorities have been instructed to ensure essential facilities, including shade, drinking water, and first aid, are available at all centers. Additionally, e-Mitra kiosks, photocopy shops, and cyber cafes within a 300-meter radius of exam centers will remain closed on the exam day to maintain the integrity of the test. The Rajasthan Transport Department has also arranged free bus services for candidates to facilitate their travel to the examination centers.
