The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations for 2026 on Thursday, showing a 99.18% pass rate for Class 10 and 99.13% for Class 12. This marks a slight increase from last year's results, which were 99.09% and 99.02%, respectively. A total of approximately 2.59 lakh students from 2,957 schools participated in the ICSE exam, and around 1.03 lakh from 1,553 schools took the ISC exam, reflecting increased participation of 2.44% and 3.78% respectively. Girls continued to excel, achieving a pass percentage of 99.46% in Class 10 and 99.48% in Class 12, while boys recorded 98.93% and 98.81%. Regionally, the West topped Class 10 results with 99.85%, and the South led Class 12 with 99.87%. Notably, candidates with learning difficulties also performed well, with several achieving scores above 90%.
