Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the higher and technical education department to implement mobile science exhibition buses in 24 districts to spark student interest in science. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote research, start-ups, and technology-based learning within the state's educational institutions. During a meeting with the Jharkhand Council of Science, Technology, and Innovation (JCSTI), Soren emphasized the importance of linking science and innovation to address local issues, particularly in agriculture. He advocated for promoting mechanical innovations to enhance agricultural productivity and accessibility. Additionally, the government plans to establish science cities and planetariums in various districts, alongside the existing Science City in Chrioundi, to encourage curiosity among students. Soren also reviewed urban development projects in Ranchi, highlighting the need for improved infrastructure, civic amenities, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
