During a review meeting, Pradeep Dahiya, the commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG), emphasized the importance of effectively resolving public complaints received through grievance redressal camps and the Mhari Sadak portal. He stated that merely closing complaints is inadequate and that solutions must be effective and prevent recurrence. Dahiya warned that negligence could lead to strict disciplinary actions, including suspension or termination of service. He also instructed officials to be available on duty during weekends to address civic issues as they arise. Additionally, Dahiya highlighted the AI-based Road Athena project as a best practice for assessing and improving road infrastructure. He reiterated that improving grievance redressal mechanisms is vital for making Gurugram a more organized and citizen-friendly city.
