The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram has launched tenders to develop four model road stretches as part of its clean action plan. The identified roads include stretches from Artemis Hospital to Hong Kong Bazaar, Jheel Chowk to Wazirabad, and Sushant Lok-II. Each project is estimated to cost between ₹4 crore and ₹6 crore and is expected to be completed within five months. The initiative aims to revamp road infrastructure by creating wider pedestrian walkways, signal-free corridors, and improved lighting. By the end of the year, a total of 23 roads will be redeveloped, including 15 under the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram and eight under the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, to mitigate dust, congestion, and vehicular emissions. The tenders will be accepted until the first week of May, followed by a technical evaluation. Future plans for 2026 include additional key stretches to enhance connectivity and infrastructure in the region.
