Wind speeds have reached up to 50 km/h, although no significant rainfall was recorded at the IMD observatory in Sector 39, with only trace amounts noted at the airport observatory. The storms are attributed to an active western disturbance over the region. While the thunderstorm system is anticipated to be strong on Tuesday, it is expected to weaken from Wednesday onward, although light rain and thunderstorms may persist throughout the week until Friday.
