In Koderma district, Jharkhand, police successfully rescued a 14-year-old boy who was abducted and arrested three individuals involved in the crime. The incident began when Veena Devi reported her brother missing after he failed to return home from school. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Tilaiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Vinay Kumar, traced the abduction to Suraj Yadav, the boy's brother-in-law, who confessed to orchestrating the kidnapping with accomplice Pintu Kumar. Their motive was to pressure the boy's family to arrange a marriage between the boy's elder sister and Yadav, who had already married the eldest sister. The boy was held captive at the residence of Santosh Kumar Sinha in Moriyawan village. Police acted on the information provided by Yadav, leading to the boy's rescue and the apprehension of all three suspects, who have since been placed in judicial custody.
