Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which operates the D-Mart retail chain, reported a 19.17% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹656.42 crore for the March quarter of FY26. This growth was supported by an 18.9% rise in revenue from operations, totaling ₹17,683.86 crore, compared to ₹14,871.86 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's profit after tax (PAT) margin remained stable at 3.7%. Total expenses also rose by 18.5% to ₹16,797.86 crore. For the full financial year, Avenue Supermarts registered a profit of ₹2,969.86 crore, a 9.7% increase, with total consolidated income reaching ₹68,894.84 crore. Managing Director & CEO Anshul Asawa noted improvements in gross margins and consistent costs aligned with business growth. The company opened 58 new stores during the quarter, achieving a total of 500 D-Mart locations across various states in India. Despite geopolitical tensions causing a brief surge in consumer buying, the company reported no significant supply chain disruptions.
