The Uttar Pradesh Police have intensified their investigation into the Bijnor viral gun display incident, arresting two more individuals, Zulfikar alias Raka and Arif Malik, both from Bijnor. The arrests were made by Nangal police after their involvement was revealed during the investigation of a video that went viral on November 23, 2025, showing youths, including Aqib, brandishing firearms during a live social media session. The police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Arms Act, and the Information Technology Act.
The investigation has already led to several arrests, including those of Aqib, Maijul, and others, with a lookout notice issued for Aqib and Azad, who is believed to be in Saudi Arabia. During interrogation, Arif admitted to forming a group of youths with criminal inclinations and claimed that a previous shooting incident at his home was staged for influence. The police are utilizing digital forensics to track the suspects and have indicated that strict action will be taken against those involved in displaying illegal weapons and sharing provocative content online.
