In Bundeli village, located in Korba district, Chhattisgarh, a man named Salik Ram Yadav has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Chitvan. The incident occurred after a heated argument between the couple, who had been living together for five years and working at a poultry farm. The argument intensified when Yadav observed their younger son drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes, leading to a confrontation with Chitvan. In a fit of rage, Yadav slit her throat with a weapon that has since been recovered by police. According to Korba Chief Superintendent of Police Pratik Chaturvedi, the couple had a history of disputes, often stemming from Chitvan's doubts about Yadav's character. Following the incident, police took Yadav into custody, and he has admitted to the crime. The body of Chitvan has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and further investigations are underway.
