Police received a call around 7:07 AM reporting the drowning. Upon arrival, emergency services found the children submerged in the pond. Despite efforts from the fire brigade to rescue them, they were declared dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that the children may have entered the site by scaling a boundary wall, as their clothes were found outside the pond, suggesting they intended to bathe.
