Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra, India, has gained approval from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to enhance its pharmacy education offerings at the Institute of Pharmacy and Paramedical Sciences. This approval allows the university to introduce Master of Pharmacy (M Pharma) programs in three specializations: pharmaceutics with 9 seats, pharmaceutical chemistry with 3 seats, and pharmacognosy with 9 seats for the 2026-27 academic session. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharma) program, which previously had 60 seats approved for the 2025-26 session, will continue with the same capacity. Additionally, the PCI has sanctioned Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programs, providing 30 seats for PharmD and 10 seats for PharmD (Post Baccalaureate).
