The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has sought permission from the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to develop two multilevel parking facilities at Iffco Chowk and Guru Dronacharya Metro stations in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This initiative is part of DMRC's strategy to meet the increasing parking demand in these busy areas. In a letter dated March 17, DMRC senior general manager PS Chauhan outlined the project, which will be executed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The detailed project report (DPR) and a 2006 memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government facilitated the allocation of land for this purpose. DMRC has previously constructed successful multilevel parkings at other metro stations, including Janakpuri West, Rohini, and Rajouri Garden. The authority is currently reviewing DMRC's proposal, and a decision is expected soon.
