The counter intelligence wing of the Punjab Police has successfully dismantled a terror module allegedly backed by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Three suspects—Sarabjit Singh from Ammishah village in Tarn Taran, Bikramjit Singh from Nangal Pannuwan village in Amritsar, and Amandeep Singh from Indira Colony in Amritsar—were arrested. During the operation, police recovered two hand grenades and a Glock pistol, with the grenades bearing markings from the Pakistan Ordnance Factory, suggesting a connection to cross-border terrorism. Punjab's Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, stated that the module was planning systematic attacks on police establishments in various states.
