The LPG ATM-cum-vending machine at Central Park Flower Valley in Gurugram's Sohna area has faced significant challenges since its launch in late February. Supply constraints, primarily due to disruptions linked to the conflict in West Asia, have resulted in the machine dispensing only four to five composite fibre-based cylinders in the past month, despite a steady daily footfall. The automated unit, which is intended to serve high-rise residential societies, can dispense up to 10 composite cylinders at a time, but limited awareness about its operation has hindered its usage. Residents can purchase a cylinder by paying a security deposit of ₹2,500 (approximately $30 USD) or swap a traditional cylinder with an additional fee. The refilling cost in Gurugram is about ₹653 (roughly $8 USD). As the demand for online connections rises, the ATM is expected to cater to an increasing number of residents in the area, but current supply issues have left many users disappointed.
