In the early hours of Tuesday, an armed attack occurred outside the civil hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, where five youths were assaulted after seeking medical attention. The victims, identified as Karanjeet Singh, Sahil, Mohit, Varun, and Dharminder, were attacked following an earlier altercation near Jawahar Nagar. Dharminder suffered a bullet wound, while the others were injured by sharp-edged weapons. The conflict reportedly originated from a dispute related to an annual religious trip to Baba Balaknath, where tensions had escalated due to the exclusion of a member associated with the attackers. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the assailants, including Sooraj Bhatti, who allegedly fired the weapon. Authorities are conducting raids to apprehend those involved.
