In Virar West, Maharashtra, India, a 37-year-old laborer, Pradeep alias Munna Paswan, and his second wife are on the run after allegedly killing his first wife, Aarti. The incident took place late on Monday night at an under-construction site where the family lived. Following a violent argument, Pradeep reportedly struck Aarti's head against a wall with the assistance of his second wife, resulting in her death. The crime was discovered on Tuesday morning when a co-worker found Aarti's lifeless body and alerted the police. Authorities have since sent the body for post-mortem and collected evidence from the scene, including bloodstains. A murder case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and police are actively pursuing leads to locate the fleeing suspects, who are thought to be heading towards Bihar.
