Shares of Valor Estate, previously known as DB Realty Ltd, experienced a significant surge of 30% over three days, peaking at ₹135 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. This increase followed a favorable ruling from the Bombay High Court, which dismissed an appeal from the Salt Department and affirmed the ownership of a 205-acre land parcel in Mira Bhayandar, Thane, held by Valor's subsidiary, Miraland Developers Pvt. Ltd. The ruling effectively concludes a 40-year legal battle regarding the land title, allowing the company to eliminate uncertainties surrounding its ownership. With the title now legally settled, Valor Estate is positioned to explore development, monetization, or strategic partnerships related to the land. Earlier this year, Valor Estate's subsidiary, MIG Realtors Private Limited, also entered into a transaction to acquire Radius Estates and Developers Private Limited, further expanding its portfolio. Despite this recent surge, Valor Estate shares have seen a 9% decline over the past six months and are down 22% year-over-year, although they are up 12% year-to-date.
