Shares of Valor Estate, previously known as DB Realty Ltd, surged by 20% to reach ₹123.90 on the Bombay Stock Exchange following a favorable ruling from the Bombay High Court regarding a land title dispute. The court dismissed an appeal from the Salt Department, confirming the ownership of a 205-acre land parcel in Mira Bhayandar, Thane, held by Valor's subsidiary, Miraland Developers Pvt. Ltd. This ruling effectively concludes a 40-year legal battle, allowing the company to move forward without the uncertainty that had surrounded the land's ownership. The decision is seen as a significant positive for Valor Estate, enabling it to explore various development and monetization strategies. Earlier this year, Valor Estate's subsidiary, MIG Realtors, also announced plans to acquire Radius Estates and Developers, further expanding its business operations. Despite the recent surge, Valor Estate's stock has seen a 15% decline over the past six months but has increased by 6% year-to-date.
