Operation Sindoor, conducted from May 7 to 10, 2025, was a significant military response by India following the Pahalgam terror attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals. Former Indian Air Force vice chief Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari emphasized that the operation taught Pakistan a critical lesson, making it more cautious in its dealings with India. He concluded that while Operation Sindoor was a success, the evolution of military capabilities is an ongoing process, and India remains prepared to respond decisively to any provocation from Pakistan.
