The attempt turned disastrous when a rusted iron ladder collapsed, causing three of them to fall. Siddharth, a 13-year-old, died from severe head injuries, while Pawan (13) and Golu were critically injured. The Indian Air Force (IAF) was called in to rescue Shani (11) and Kallu (14), who were stranded on top of the tank.
