Authorities have identified 41-year-old Michael Mott as the individual killed by a Frontier Airlines plane at Denver International Airport shortly before its departure to Los Angeles. The Denver Medical Examiner confirmed that Mott's death was ruled a suicide, resulting from multiple blunt force injuries after he was pulled into the aircraft's engine, which also caused a fire. Investigators reported that Mott was not an airport employee and had jumped over an eight-foot perimeter fence to access the runway. The incident occurred around 11:15 PM local time, just minutes before takeoff. The aircraft, an Airbus A321, was carrying 224 passengers and 7 crew members at the time. Following the collision, the pilots aborted the takeoff, and 12 individuals were injured during the evacuation process. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mott's actions and have requested anyone who knew him to come forward.
