An official from the Delhi Fire Services noted that the combination of high temperatures, dry winds, and increased power usage has heightened fire risks, as electrical infrastructure becomes overloaded and more susceptible to short circuits. While fire incidents typically rise during summer, this year's increase is particularly sharp. Fortunately, weather forecasts indicate that thunderstorms and gusty winds may provide some relief in the coming days, potentially lowering temperatures and reducing fire risks.
