In a shocking incident, fire brigade officials in Vasai West, Maharashtra, uncovered human skeletal remains while extinguishing a fire in dry vegetation near railway tracks. The remains, which included a skull and leg bones, were exposed after the blaze burned away the shrubbery. Police suspect the body had decomposed before being partially scorched. Investigators are currently unable to determine the sex of the remains or the cause of death, pending forensic examination results. This discovery is reminiscent of a similar case from four months ago, when a male skeleton was found in an abandoned water tank in Manikpur. Senior police inspector Harilal Jadhav stated that there appears to be no connection between the two cases, and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding both deaths.
