The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has introduced three new beginner-friendly AI courses on its digital learning platform SWAYAM Plus, in collaboration with IITM Pravartak. The courses, titled AI for Aspiring Engineers, AI for Administrators, and Prompt Engineering, are designed for individuals with no prior coding or AI experience. Registration for these courses is open until May 10, 2026, and interested learners can sign up at swayam-plus.swayam2.ac.in. The launch event, attended by various stakeholders from government, industry, and academia, was led by Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, and celebrated the two-year anniversary of SWAYAM Plus. The initiative is part of the broader ‘AI for All’ campaign, which has already attracted significant participation, with previous courses recording over 50,000 registrations.
