PNC Infratech's stock price rose by 7.29% to ₹223.60 after the company emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for two National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) projects, with a total bid cost of ₹3,483 crore. The financial bids for these projects were opened on April 21, 2026. Both projects are situated in Uttar Pradesh, specifically on the NH-927 section, and will be executed under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM) as part of the NH (O) scheme. The first project involves constructing a 4-lane highway from Barabanki to Mustafabad, with a bid cost of ₹1,728 crore, while the second project, from Mustafabad to Biswariya, has a bid cost of ₹1,755 crore. Each project is expected to be completed within 24 months. Despite this positive development, PNC Infratech reported a 5.8% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹76.7 crore for the third quarter, down from ₹81.4 crore in the same period last year, while revenue from operations fell by 18.3% to ₹1,200 crore from ₹1,470 crore.
