Delhi Police have initiated an investigation into the suspected suicide of a 30-year-old judicial officer, who was found dead in his home in Green Park Main, South Delhi. The police registered a case based on a complaint from the officer's father, citing sections 108 (abetment to suicide) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case names the officer's wife as a suspect, amid claims of ongoing domestic disputes. The officer, who was stationed at Karkardooma Court, was discovered hanging in the bathroom of his second-floor flat after police responded to a call from his brother-in-law. Relatives reported that the officer had been under significant stress due to marital issues, which had reportedly persisted for the last two months. The father stated that his son had called him the night before, expressing feelings of distress. The investigation is ongoing as police explore all possible angles related to the case.
