Two men, Deepanshu alias Sahil alias Bouncer (28) and Avinash (24), were arrested by the Delhi Police after a gunfight near Zakir Hussain College in central Delhi. The police had received intelligence that the duo was planning to target a member of the rival Rohit gang. During the encounter, which occurred late Friday night, the suspects opened fire but were quickly surrounded by police. Both men sustained bullet injuries to their legs and were admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital. The police recovered a pistol, a country-made firearm, three live cartridges, and ten empty cartridge cases from the scene. The scooter they used was reported stolen from Malviya Nagar.
