On May 10, 2023, Delhi Police arrested Praveen Kumar, also known as Tittu, a 45-year-old operative linked to a transnational arms trafficking and terror module allegedly supported by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). His arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the module led by Shahbaz Ansari. Kumar is accused of being a 'receiver' for the module, which has now seen 14 individuals arrested. Authorities recovered an Italian-made semi-automatic pistol and five live cartridges from Kumar's possession. In total, police have seized 25 foreign-made firearms and 221 live cartridges from the accused. Kumar, a property dealer from Aaya Nagar, has a history of criminal activities, including murder and extortion, and is believed to have been involved in illegal property dealings and gambling. His connections with gangster Rohit Chaudhary, who was previously arrested, further implicate him in serious criminal offenses.
