In a tragic incident in New Usmanpur, northeast Delhi, a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by a 17-year-old on Saturday. The police apprehended the suspect the following day and recovered the knife used in the crime. According to reports, the dispute between the two boys escalated when the victim confronted the accused about a prior altercation involving the victim's brother. The victim was declared dead upon arrival at JPC Hospital after being taken there by family members. The police have registered a murder case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and are investigating the incident, including gathering CCTV footage to understand the sequence of events. The incident has sparked concern among local families regarding the rising trend of violence among juveniles. The suspect has been presented to the Juvenile Justice Board and placed in an observation home, while the victim's body was returned to the family after a post-mortem examination.
