Emcure Pharmaceuticals, headquartered in Pune, India, is intensifying its investments in domestic expansion, research and development (R&D), and manufacturing capabilities. The company is also on the lookout for acquisition opportunities both domestically and internationally, particularly in Europe and Canada. In FY27, Emcure reported a 17% increase in revenue to ₹9,204 crore (approximately $1.1 billion USD), while profit after tax rose by 33% to ₹941 crore (roughly $113 million USD). The company's EBITDA for the year was ₹1,789 crore (around $216 million USD), reflecting a 21.8% year-over-year growth. Emcure's partnership with Novo Nordisk in GLP-1 therapies is expected to significantly contribute to its growth, alongside a strong pipeline of complex injectables. Despite international expansion, the company remains committed to enhancing its domestic market performance, aiming for double-digit growth from new products over the next five years. The management is cautiously optimistic about achieving low to mid-teens growth for FY27 while maintaining focus on improving margins.
