Arriving from Chennai at 4 pm, he will hold a Thanksgiving meeting at St. Joseph's College, thanking constituents for their support after resigning from the Tiruchirappalli East Assembly seat. Extensive security measures are being organized by Tiruchirappalli City Police, anticipating a large turnout. The event is being coordinated by the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and other party officials. In addition to the rally, Vijay has recently overseen a major reshuffle in the Indian Administrative Service, transferring several senior officers. His government emerged victorious in the May 10 elections, ending the long-standing dominance of the DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu politics, with the TVK winning 108 seats and forming a coalition government with support from various parties.
