Many students, who studied 14-15 hours daily, are now grappling with the emotional burden of potentially starting their preparation anew. Concerns about the fairness of a re-examination loom large, with students fearing that their hard work may not be enough in an altered testing environment. Parents, who often invest significant financial and emotional resources into their children's NEET preparation, are equally affected. The Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA), Abhishek Singh, acknowledged the unfortunate situation but faces skepticism from students who feel let down by the system.
