Khan Sir, a well-known educator in India, has sharply criticized the National Testing Agency (NTA) following the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 exam due to allegations of a paper leak. The NTA announced the cancellation on May 12, just nine days after the exam was conducted on May 3. Khan Sir expressed his frustration over the recurring issue of exam malpractices, stating that it feels like 'playing games with the lives of lakhs of students.' He called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action against these leaks, emphasizing that the confidence of students is being undermined. Khan Sir highlighted that similar incidents occurred in 2024, which led to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry that ultimately did not resolve the issues. He criticized the lack of accountability within the testing framework, noting that it was the students who first alerted the authorities about the leak. He called for strict punishment for those involved in the malpractice, stressing the importance of education for the nation's future. Khan Sir warned that neglecting this issue could have serious consequences for the country over the next two decades.
