Delhi Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the robbery of ₹4.18 lakh (approximately $5,000 USD) from a cash collection agent named Sandeep in Burari, New Delhi. The incident occurred on April 27 when Sandeep was targeted after collecting cash from a warehouse in Swaroop Nagar. The suspects, riding scooters, deliberately collided with Sandeep's motorcycle, causing him to fall and sustain minor injuries. They then snatched the bag containing the cash and fled the scene. Police launched an extensive investigation, scanning over 1,000 CCTV cameras across nearly 35 kilometers to track the suspects. Their movements led police to Jahangirpuri, where two suspects were spotted at a hotel. Utilizing hotel records and technical surveillance, police identified and arrested the suspects. Police recovered ₹26,000, a mobile phone purchased with the stolen money, and the scooter used in the crime, with efforts ongoing to recover the remaining amount.
