In a heartfelt post on social media, she shared her experience of struggling with pain and the challenges of staying active, particularly during perimenopause. After seven months of inactivity, Thapar resumed her fitness journey through gym workouts, yoga, and dance. She acknowledged the support of her yoga teacher, Supriya, who employs props to assist her in overcoming the limitations imposed by her condition. Frozen Shoulder, medically known as adhesive capsulitis, is characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint, often affecting adults aged 40 to 60 and is more prevalent in women. The condition develops in three stages: freezing, frozen, and thawing, with various factors such as diabetes and prolonged immobility increasing the risk of its occurrence.
