In a tragic incident on Monday morning, Rinku Bheel, a nine-year-old girl from Alkodia village in Bundi district, Rajasthan, was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs. The attack occurred around 6 am when she left her home to defecate in nearby fields. Family members rushed to her aid upon hearing her screams, but she sustained severe injuries and was declared dead at the Community Health Centre in Talera. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited the family to offer condolences and financial support, providing ₹1 lakh (approximately $1,200 USD) immediately and promising an additional ₹1 lakh through public funding. He also instructed local authorities to take measures to prevent such attacks in the future.
