Dr. Neelam Singh, a social media influencer known as 'The Skin Doctor', has been arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly posting objectionable content about the family of Sunjay Kapur, a businessman who passed away on June 12, 2025, in London. The arrest followed a complaint lodged by the Kapur family at the Vasant Kunj police station. Sunjay Kapur's death has sparked a protracted legal battle over his estate, valued at ₹30,000 crore (approximately $3.6 billion USD), primarily between his third wife, Priya Sachdeva Kapur, and his children from his second marriage, Kiaan and Samaira Kapoor. The Delhi High Court has intervened, restricting Priya Kapur from selling any of Sunjay's assets while the legal proceedings unfold. Additionally, the Supreme Court has appointed former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud as a mediator to resolve disputes related to the RK Trust and companies associated with the Kapur family. There are allegations from Kiaan and Samaira Kapoor that Priya Kapur forged their father's will and submitted an incomplete list of his assets, which has intensified the legal conflict.
