On Wednesday, a tragic accident in Alipur, New Delhi, resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a six-year-old girl, after a truck struck an autorickshaw from behind. Seven people were traveling in the autorickshaw at the time of the collision. Emergency services responded promptly, rescuing two individuals trapped inside the vehicle, while others were taken to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital in Narela. Unfortunately, three victims were declared dead upon arrival, including the child, her father Mukesh, and the autorickshaw driver Raju Sharma. Four other injured passengers were later transferred to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital due to the severity of their injuries. Investigators are exploring various angles related to the accident, including potential speeding, mechanical failure, and road conditions. The damaged autorickshaw has been secured for forensic examination, and police are working to identify the deceased and notify their families.
