In a tragic incident in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, an eight-year-old boy was found murdered with his throat slit during a wedding celebration. The child, identified as the son of Laxman Nishad, went missing while watching festivities in nearby Majhara Taukli village. His body was discovered approximately 300-400 meters from his home in Dayalpurwa hamlet. Villagers indicated that the murder might be a result of old enmity with some locals. Police Superintendent Vishwajeet Srivastava confirmed that a case has been registered, and one suspect has been detained for questioning. Forensic experts and a dog squad were deployed to gather evidence, and police presence has been increased in the village to maintain order. The boy's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue into the motives behind this heinous act.
